Great Eastern Inter-Varsity Badminton Championship 2025 merupakan pertandingan badminton antara universiti seluruh Malaysia yang akan berlangsung pada 24 – 26 Oktober 2025 di UM Sports Centre Multipurpose Hall, Universiti Malaya.

Pertandingan ini dianjurkan oleh Great Eastern Life Insurance Company dengan kerjasama Universiti Malaya Badminton Club dan Persatuan Peniaga Taman United.

Acara ini berbentuk berpasukan dengan tiga kategori utama:

1. Perseorangan Lelaki
2. Beregu Lelaki
3. Beregu Campuran

Setiap pasukan terdiri daripada 5 – 8 pemain dan pertandingan dijalankan secara liga pusingan penuh (round-robin), 15 mata 3 set dari pusingan pertama sehingga pusingan akhir.

Selain perlawanan, acara ini turut menampilkan aktiviti sampingan seperti pameran produk sukan, booth kesihatan, serta sesi bersama pemain badminton profesional.

Dengan penyertaan dari pelbagai universiti di Malaysia, kejohanan ini bukan sahaja menjadi platform untuk mempamerkan bakat, mengeratkan hubungan antara pelajar, dan mempromosikan gaya hidup sihat, tetapi juga memberikan pendedahan positif kepada penaja sebagai penyokong utama pembangunan belia dan sukan negara.

The Great Eastern Inter-Varsity Badminton Championship 2025 is a national-level university badminton tournament that will be held from 24th – 26th October 2025 at the UM Sports Centre Multipurpose Hall, Universiti Malaya.

This event is organized by Great Eastern Life Insurance Company in collaboration with the University of Malaya Badminton Club and the Taman United Traders Association.

The tournament will be held in a team format with three main events:

1. Men’s Singles
2. Men’s Doubles
3. Mixed Doubles

Each team will consist of 5 – 8 players, and matches will follow a round-robin format, 15 points best of three from the first round until the final.

Beyond the matches, the event will also feature side activities such as sports product exhibitions, health & fitness booths, and special sessions with professional badminton players.

By bringing together students from universities across Malaysia, this championship aims to showcase talent, strengthen inter-university relations, and promote a healthy lifestyle, while also providing valuable brand exposure and recognition for our sponsors as key supporters of youth and sports development in Malaysia.
