PARAMOUNT CUP 2025 is set to make waves from 23rd–26th October 2025, uniting international stars and Malaysia’s finest in a world-class pickleball showdown. Hosted at the iconic PLAYA Racquet Club @ PARC Subang, this four-day spectacle will showcase 13 Competition Courts and a dedicated Grandstand Court, delivering non-stop action from the very first serve to the championship point.

Spectators will enjoy the thrill up close, with VIP bird’s-eye views of the Grandstand Court—where champions rise, rivalries ignite, and history is written. Featuring the largest cash prize pool in West Malaysia, international-standard tournament execution, and players flying in from across the globe, PARAMOUNT CUP 2025 promises to raise the game to unprecedented heights.

🎮 Tournament Format

• Group Stage: Round Robin within each group per category
• Advancement: Top 2 teams from each group progress to Single Elimination Knockout
• Seeding: Top 8 or Top 4 players seeded based on DUPR Rating and Tournament Director’s discretion
• Adjustments: Organizers reserve the right to amend based on number of participants

Tie-Breaking Criteria (Group Stage)

1. Total Point Differential – Points scored minus points conceded across all group matches
2. Head-to-Head Result – Applicable only if exactly two teams are tied

👥 Player Eligibility

Novice (<3.00)

• Minimum age: 18+
• DUPR rating below 3.00 at registration
• DUPR reliability score <10% → classified as Novice

Intermediate Plus (<3.99)

• Minimum age: 18+
• DUPR rating below 4.00 at registration

Open (4.0+)

• Minimum age: 18+
• High-level competitive category
• Open to all DUPR ratings

Player Age Restriction

Players aged 17 and below may request to participate with prior approval from the Tournament Director + signed parental consent/waiver.

🔢 DUPR Rules (All Rated Categories)

1. Valid DUPR ID must be submitted during registration
2. Players without DUPR rating → self-assess (final eligibility at Tournament Director’s discretion)
3. DUPR reliability <10% → considered NR (No Rating)
4. Players cannot hold multiple DUPR accounts
5. Manipulating DUPR ratings → disqualification + report to DUPR
6. All criteria reviewed and acknowledged by DUPR

🏓 Paddles & Equipment

All paddles must be listed on:

• USAP Approved Equipment List
• UPA-A Approved Paddles List

If a paddle’s legality is questioned, the Head Referee or Tournament Director may inspect it before/during the match. ➡️ Past match results will not be retroactively changed.
