LEAPMOTOR PICKLEBALL SHOWDOWN 2025 (LPBS) is where dinks, drops and drives take center stage in a high-intensity, community-powered tournament. Powered by Leapmotor Malaysia, this event unites passionate players from across Malaysia for two days of fierce rallies, smart plays and thrilling matchups.

Taking place on 4th–5th October 2025 at Picklefy @ Subang, Selangor, featuring 14 tournament-grade indoor courts, LPBS offers DUPR 2.75 to 3.75 categories, providing a competitive stage for both rising and experienced players to showcase their skills, climb the ranks and fight for podium glory.

With every serve, third-shot drop and kitchen battle, LPBS delivers nonstop excitement and celebrates unity, tournament and the love of the game. For players, it’s not just a tournament — it’s a platform to compete, connect and leave it all on the court.

Each participant receives:

Notes:

• Players may join more than 1 category if schedules don’t clash.
• Mixed Doubles [Intermediate]: 3rd/4th place or Finals may overlap with Team Event (adjustments will be made).
• Mixed Doubles [Upper Intermediate] cannot join Team Event [Intermediate] (as they run concurrently).

📖 Tournament Schedule

• Final schedule will be released once registration is near full or after deadline.
• Stay updated via Baseline App, social media, and official organizer announcements.
• Matches may start 1 hour earlier or later than scheduled.
• Players must arrive at least 1 hour before their match.

🔖 Tournament Format (Doubles)

• Group Stage: Round-robin within assigned groups.
• Knockout Stage: Top 2 teams per group advance to single-elimination.
• Format Adjustments: Organizer may modify based on final entries.
• Seeding: Selected categories may seed Top 4 or Top 8 (based on DUPR & TD discretion).
• Tie-Breakers:

1. Head-to-head (if exactly 2 teams tied)
2. Total point differential (points scored – conceded)

🔖 Tournament Format (Team Event)

• Team Composition: 5–8 players (min. 2 females).
• Player Eligibility: Max. 2 categories per player. (e.g., 2 Men’s Doubles OR 1 Men’s + 1 Mixed).
• Group Stage & Knockout: Round-robin → Top 2 → Single-elimination.
• Tie-Breakers: Same as doubles.

Dream-Breaker Format:

• Doubles shootout, rotating every 4 points.
• Line-up submission: 4 doubles teams (2 Men’s, 1 Women’s, 1 Mixed).

💯 DUPR Rating & Compliance

• Valid DUPR ID required.
• NR (unrated) players must self-evaluate → TD approval.
• Reliability <10% = NR.
• Multiple accounts, fake ratings, or manipulation → disqualification & report to DUPR.
• All matches will be submitted to DUPR

🏓 Paddles & Equipment

• Paddles must be listed on:
  • USA Pickleball Approved List
  • UPA-A Approved List
• Paddle legality may be challenged before/during a match (decisions do not affect completed matches).
