🏸 ASICS MASISWA Badminton Championship 2025

The ASICS MASISWA Badminton Championship 2025 is an inter-university badminton tournament open to students from private higher education institutions (IPTS) recognized by Majlis Sukan IPTS Malaysia (MASISWA). Taking place from 26–28 June 2025 at Taylor’s University Grand Hall, Subang Jaya, this event aims to foster healthy competition, sportsmanship, and athletic excellence among IPTS students.

• Event Type: Individual Registration (Singles & Doubles)

🎓 Who Can Participate?

The tournament is divided into two major categories:

🔹 1. MASISWA Category (Open Division)

✅ Open to local and international students currently enrolled at IPTS, including national and state-level players
✅ Each player may enter up to two (2) individual categories (e.g., Men’s Singles & Men’s Doubles)
✅ Doubles entries must consist of players from the same IPTS only
✅ Each IPTS may submit up to three (3) entries per category (subject to slot availability)

🔹 2. MASISWA Bakat Baru Category (Beginner Division)

✅ Open to local and international IPTS students who are not current or former national/state-level players
❌ Players with BWF/BAM IDs are not eligible
❌ Participants registered in any MASISWA Open category cannot join Bakat Baru
✅ Doubles entries must be from the same IPTS

📌 Important Rules & Reminders:

1. Register with full legal name (as per NRIC/passport & student ID)
   
2. All information must be accurate & complete – incorrect data may lead to disqualification
   
3. No refunds or transfers after registration
   
4. No switching categories or players once registered

🏅 Game Format & Schedule:

• 15-point, best-of-3, knockout format
  
• Matches may start 10–15 mins early – be present 30 mins before your match
  
• Medal Ceremony will take place after finals – attendance is compulsory for medallists

❗ Protests:

• Written protest (in Bahasa Malaysia) with RM 500 deposit, within 1 hour post-match
  
• If approved, RM 300 will be refunded
