About the Tournament

The ASICS Badminton University Cup 2025 is a prestigious university-level tournament designed to bring together the finest badminton talent from institutions of higher learning across Malaysia.
Endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), this event offers a platform for both rising and elite student-athletes to showcase their skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Open to all public and private universities (IPTA & IPTS), polytechnics, and community colleges, the tournament welcomes local and international students — from grassroots talents to national and state-level athletes. The event features an exciting IPT Mixed Team Open category, where schools compete in a team-based format that includes Mixed Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Men’s Singles in each match.

🎓 Who Can Participate?

✅ Full-time students at Diploma, Degree, and Postgraduate levels
✅ Certificate-level students (course duration 3 months or more) from Community Colleges
✅ Each player may only represent one institution and participate in one event per match
