Group Standing Criteria

Team standings will be determined using the following criteria, in order:

1. Total Win–Loss Record
2. Total Points Difference
3. Head-to-Head Results
4. Total Points Scored

Men's Doubles (< 3.099)

This category that consists of 6 groups.

• Top 2 teams from each group will automatically advance to the Round of 16 (12 teams total).
• The remaining 4 slots in the Round of 16 will be awarded to the best-performing third-place teams across all groups.

Third-Place Qualification Criteria

Third-place teams will be ranked based on the following criteria (in order):

1. Total Win–Loss Record
2. Total Points Difference
3. Total Points Scored

The Top 4 third-place teams overall will qualify for the Round of 16.

If teams remain tied, a tie-breaker (decider) match will be played

Tie-breaker format:

• Rally to 15 points
• One (1) match only

Mixed Doubles (< 3.099)

This category consists of 5 groups.

• Top 3 teams from each group will automatically advance to the Round of 16 (15 teams total).

⚠️ Key Rules & Notices

• Player eligibility is based on rating at the time of registration
• Podium players (Champion / Runner-Up / Second Runner-Up) from Sportweplay, Baseline, AFA, Courtsite & Sportsync are NOT eligible
• Reclub tournaments are allowed
• Medical timeout: Maximum 15 minutes
• Match timeout:
  • 1 minute per match / per game (Semifinals & Finals only)
• Tournament Official (TO) decisions are final
  • Tournament Director (TD) may intervene if necessary
• Rating complaints must be raised before matches begin

🏆 Podium Rules & Regulations

To ensure fair competition and balanced matchups, the following podium eligibility rules apply to this tournament:

1. Podium Restriction

Any player or team that has previously achieved a podium finish (1st, 2nd, or 3rd place) in a specific category is not eligible to compete in the same category in this tournament.

2. Category-Specific Eligibility

Podium restrictions apply only to the category in which the podium finish was achieved.
Players are welcome to register for other categories provided they have no prior podium record in those categories.

3. Practical Examples

• Example 1 Tommy and Jack were Men’s Doubles Champions at the KL Open.
  ➜ They are not eligible to enter Men’s Doubles in this tournament.
• Example 2 Neither Tommy nor Jack has achieved a podium finish in Mixed Doubles.
  ➜ They are eligible to compete in Mixed Doubles.
