The Rev Challenger is set to energise the courts on 24th January 2026 at 9Pickle Setia Alam, proudly organised by All New REV. This tournament brings together Malaysia’s growing pickleball community for an exciting showcase of skill, sportsmanship, and competitive fun.

Created by a team that believes in movement, performance, and recovery, the Rev Challenger is more than just a competition — it’s a celebration of active lifestyles, strong bodies, and an even stronger community. Players can expect well-organised matches, high-energy rallies, and a supportive environment that reflects All New REV’s commitment to performance and longevity in sport.

The tournament is open to players across multiple skills division, featuring Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories. Expect fast-paced exchanges, tactical teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments on court.

⚠️ Important Participation Notice

To ensure smooth scheduling and avoid delays, players are not allowed to register in multiple categories that overlap or may disrupt the tournament timeline.

For example, players cannot join Mixed Doubles Novice (<3.099) and Men's Doubles Intermediate (<3.599) simultaneously, as these categories may conflict with each other.

If a player insists on joining conflicting categories and it creates scheduling issues or risks delaying the tournament, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to require the player to withdraw from one of the categories.

This policy applies to all divisions and categories to maintain fairness and ensure a seamless tournament experience for everyone.

🏓 Tournament Format

🔸 Tournament Structure

• Group Stage: Round-robin format within each group.
• Knockout Stage: Top two teams from each group advance to single elimination.
• Format Adjustments: May be made based on total participants.
• Seeding: Applied to all categories (except Novice) for the Top 4–8 players, determined by DUPR ratings and the Tournament Director’s discretion.

Novice & Intermediate

Group Stage

• All matches will use the rally format.
• Each game is played to 15 points, switching sides at 8 points.
• No Deuce — Sudden Death applies at 15–15.
• Standard scoring rules apply unless otherwise stated by the Tournament Director.

Knockout Stage

• All matches will use the traditional 002 format.
• Finals and 3rd place matches will be played in a Best of 3 games format.
• Each game is played to 11 points, switching sides at 6 points.
• No Deuce — Sudden Death applies at 10–10.
• Standard scoring rules apply unless otherwise stated by the Tournament Director.

🔗 Tie-Breaking Criteria (Group Stage)

If two or more teams have identical win–loss records, the ranking will be determined in this order:

1. Total Point Differential – Points scored minus points conceded across all group matches.
2. Head-to-Head Result – Applied only if exactly two teams are tied.
3. Total Points Scored – Total accumulated points across all group matches.

⚖️ Match Regulations

🧑‍⚖️ Refereeing

• Group Stage to Quarterfinals: Self-refereed matches.
• A Match Official will be available for disputes and challenges.
• Semifinals and Finals: Officiated by appointed referees.

📏 Line Calls

• The receiving team is responsible for line calls on their side.
• Disputed calls may be referred to the Match Official if both teams agree.
• If the official cannot determine the outcome, the rally will be replayed.

🗣️ Serve Rules

• The serving team must announce the score clearly and audibly before serving.
• Failure to do so allows the receiving team to request a re-serve.
• The server must ensure the receiving team is ready before serving.

⚖️ Tournament Director’s Decision

All disputes, interpretations, and final decisions regarding rules, format, or conduct will be made at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director, and such decisions are final and binding.
